This is entirely dependent on the individual! Whilst working with thread veins on the cheeks, neck or chin for instance, the sensation could be described as 'Painless to Uncomfortable'. When working with veins on or inside the nose the level of discomfort will increase substantially. We recommend those patients with veins in this area or who have a low pain threshold take a suitable analgesic before coming for your initial treatment.
The good news is that we only take 15 minutes (aprox) to do your treatment. The vast majority of patients will have most of their broken capillaries removed during this session. We would require an extra half-hour for your consultation.
The majority of patients will need 2-3 treatments. In severe cases it may take more.
If you have a mild case of broken veins we can eradicate them completely in one session and you will leave without them! However, severe cases may take several sessions. The final result will be complete eradication!
